About our Workshops
ELEMENTS: Water, Art + Design + Culture, Waste, Mobility
Catalyzing Communities for A Regenerative Future , a collaboration between Kristen Victor, David McCullough, Kim Nadel, and Lola Victor, illuminates opportunities to transcend communities prioritizing equity, resilience, and prosperity.
Be a part of the change to co-create neighborhood scale equitable development and a self-sustaining community model with an international network of people who pool their talents and resources to develop inventive, community-driven and needs-based solutions.
Together, we will immerse ourselves in the local culture, waste, water, food and energy of different regions around the globe, through community mapping, placemaking, community planning and innovative design.
Interested in learning how to become a master visionary and co-create a self-sustaining community model
for neighborhood scale equitable development? Our interactive workshops incorporate tools and resource development, visualization, asset mapping, biomimicry and more.
In our upcoming workshop on Water. we have been focusing on the region of Lago de Pátzcuaro where water is scarce, to ensure access to clean water and sanitation for all, resulting in a community vision, connected to nature, regenerating natural resources, rewarded with many socio-economic benefits.
We are thrilled to build our amazing partnerships including biological water expert Ayala Water Ecology, local ecological hotel Hacienda Ucazanaztacua, renowned artist Esteban Silva, local sustainable businesses Sésijásï and Uasisi, ecological school CREDES Patzcuaro, non-profit Waste for Life and other amazing supporters of the imperatives of this workshop.
Our work involves youth and student participants, as they are the foundation of our future. We are currently working with local universities offering student scholarships, in collaboration with local community members, businesses and organizations. Through our preparation, we value the importance of generational and cultural diversity and support through tri-lingual materials and sessions in multiple languages -Spanish, Purepecha and English. We believe your participation is extremely important. Your support as a valuable community member is critical to the success of our efforts.
Ideal Participant:
Like-minded humans including educators, visionaries, influencers, leaders, decision makers, developers and any inspired human interested in co-creating a sustainable future.
